Common questions
Can JoyPDF unlock PDF without the password?
No. Encryption exists to prevent exactly that. JoyPDF requires the correct open password you obtained legitimately - from author, HR, or court order. Services promising 'unlock without password' use dictionary attacks or malware - avoid them. If password is lost, contact document owner for new export, not cracking.
Is my password sent to JoyPDF servers?
No. Decryption runs locally with password in browser memory only. Still avoid unlocking highly classified PDFs on untrusted public PCs - malware on machine could keylog password regardless of JoyPDF architecture. Use corporate-managed device for sensitive unlock tasks.
What's the difference between user and owner password?

Will unlocking reduce PDF quality?
