Remove Pages from PDF
Use this tool directly in your browser with local WebAssembly processing - your files stay on your device unless you explicitly choose an AI feature that sends extracted text to our API. JoyPDF offers a free tier for core PDF tasks and an optional Premium plan for advanced limits and AI-powered workflows.
Remove Pages from PDF
Delete unwanted pages with a visual, click-to-remove flow.
About this tool
Delete unwanted pages from a PDF - blank scans, duplicate sheets, draft appendices, or confidential annexes - with a visual page grid instead of guessing numbers in a desktop app. JoyPDF loads the document in your browser; click thumbnails to mark pages for removal or type ranges like 2, 4-6. The remaining pages export as one clean PDF locally. Free, no watermark, no account - ideal when you need a shareable version without reprinting the whole file from source.
What you get
- Output: one PDF containing every page you did not mark for removal, in original order.
- Selection: click-to-toggle thumbnails plus range syntax (e.g. 1, 3-5, 10) for bulk deletes.
- Quality: pages kept are copied without re-rasterising - text and images stay as embedded in the source.
- Order: remaining page sequence compresses - page 10 becomes page 9 if you removed page 3.
- Metadata: document properties may persist; page labels and numbering might need Add Page Numbers afterward.
- Limits: password-locked PDFs must be unlocked first; some rights-restricted files block page deletion.
When to use
- Stripping blank pages from a phone scan batch before submitting to HR or a mortgage broker.
- Removing a draft appendix or internal-only section before sending a client-facing report.
- Cutting duplicate cover sheets or separator blanks from a merged scan archive.
- Deleting erroneous pages from a PDF export without returning to the original Word or InDesign file.
Why JoyPDF for this
Deleting pages on cloud PDF sites means uploading the full document - including the very annex you want to destroy - to someone else's server. JoyPDF removes pages locally: you mark thumbnails on your device, export once, and the trimmed file never transits a third party. That privacy posture fits NDAs, patient records, and board packs where even temporary cloud storage is unacceptable.
How to use
- 1Add your PDFDrop the file or pick it from your device. Thumbnails generate on your machine - no cloud upload.
- 2Mark pages to removeClick pages in the grid to toggle them off, or enter ranges such as 2, 5-7 for precise deletion.
- 3Check what's leftScan the preview - removed pages grey out or badge clearly so you don't drop the wrong sheet.
- 4Download trimmed PDFSave the shorter PDF with only the pages you kept - ready to email, sign, or archive.
