Common questions
Does PowerPoint to PDF include speaker notes?
JoyPDF's slide-to-PDF path targets visible slide content - speaker notes in the notes pane typically do not appear in the PDF output, similar to 'Slides' print layout in PowerPoint. If you need notes pages, export Notes Pages from PowerPoint desktop or copy notes into Word first. Audience handouts usually want slides-only PDF anyway. Verify page 1 content before sending to executives who expect notes underneath.
Will animations and transitions appear in the PDF?
PDF is static - animations, morph transitions, and build sequences collapse to whatever each slide looks like in its final built state or initial state depending on renderer. Don't expect click-to-reveal behaviour in PDF viewers. For animated storytelling, keep PPTX; for archival handouts, PDF is correct. Complex SmartArt may rasterise slightly differently - spot-check brand slides.
Can JoyPDF convert PPT (old format) files?

Is my presentation uploaded during conversion?
