What quality or DPI should I use for PDF to JPG?

For web and email, medium quality (roughly 150 DPI equivalent) keeps files small and text readable on screen. For printing a page or zooming into fine details, use higher export scale - file size grows quickly. A single slide for PowerPoint doesn't need print resolution; a architectural floor plan might. Preview one page before batch export. JPG uses lossy compression - slight artefacts on gradients; PNG is lossless but heavier. Start medium, increase only if jagged edges appear on diagonal text or thin lines.

Can I convert only one page from a PDF to JPG?

Yes. Thumbnail selection lets you export a single page - useful for a cover image or one diagram without rasterising a 200-page report. Select the page, choose format, download. For sporadic pages, repeat; for many, batch all or export a page range if the UI supports it. Each export is local - no per-page server fee. Will text be selectable in the JPG?

No. PDF to JPG produces a picture of each page - pixels, not text layers. You can't copy-paste from the JPG unless you run OCR in another tool. That's intentional when the target is Instagram, a video frame, or a slide background. If you need editable text, use PDF to Word instead. If you need searchable text from a scan, OCR PDF on the source, then convert pages if still needed as images.

Is my PDF uploaded when converting to JPG?

JPG is smaller and fine for photos, slides with gradients, and social previews. PNG preserves sharp edges on text-heavy pages and supports transparency where the renderer provides it - better for UI screenshots or diagrams with flat colours. For a mixed PDF, export critical text pages as PNG and photo pages as JPG if the tool allows per-session format. Neither replaces vector PDF for printing at scale - they're delivery formats for other apps.

Can I convert PDF to JPG on mobile?
