Why can't I click text on my scanned PDF?

Scanned PDFs are pictures - no text objects to click. Run OCR PDF to add searchable text layer, then try Edit PDF Text - success depends on OCR quality. Alternatively overlay a text box in Edit PDF covering wrong scan text visually without true edit. Born-digital PDFs from Word export usually click fine.

Will font match the original after I edit?

JoyPDF uses embedded PDF fonts when available - substitutions occur if font wasn't embedded or lacks glyph for new characters. Special characters or Cyrillic added to Latin-only font may fail - pick alternate wording. Compare zoomed before sending to print shop.

Can I add new paragraphs with Edit PDF Text?
